Wrinkle and Sweating Treatment

There are several different methods for the treatment of facial wrinkles. However, the most widely used treatment method is to relax the overworked mimic muscles by injection and to reduce the activity of the muscles by preventing the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscles. When this application is applied regularly, it prevents the formation of new wrinkles by changing the habits of using the mimic muscles of the person. The procedure is usually quick and relatively painless. During the procedure, the active substance is injected directly into the targeted muscles by injection. After the injection, the muscles relax over time and the appearance of wrinkles decreases. Usually the effects last for about 3 to 6 months and then may need to be repeated.

This application is used for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles in areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes (crow’s feet) and drooping eyebrows. Dynamic wrinkles are wrinkles that form during facial expressions. For example, forehead lines or vertical lines between the eyebrows are examples of such wrinkles. Facial wrinkle treatment should be performed by a specialist health professional such as a dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced in the field.

Sweating Treatment

Sweating therapy is a treatment method used to reduce sweating in people who have excessive sweating problem (hyperhidrosis). The purpose of this treatment is to temporarily inhibit the activity of the sweat glands of the active substance with the help of a fine-tipped injection.

It is applied to people who have excessive sweating problems in areas such as armpits, palms or soles. The active substance injected into the sweat glands reduces the production of sweat by blocking nerve impulses. Thus, the amount of perspiration is markedly reduced.

The sweating treatment process is usually completed in a short time and the pain is minimal. During the procedure, botulinum toxin is injected into the sweating areas with a fine needle. The effect usually starts within a few days and takes full effect within 7 to 14 days. The effect of the sweating treatment process usually lasts for 4 to 6 months, and then it may need to be repeated.

Widespread sweating therapy is generally considered a safe treatment, but it can have some side effects. These include temporary pain, swelling or bruising at the injection site, risk of infection, or muscle weakness. Side effects are usually mild and temporary.

Sweating treatment can provide significant relief for people who suffer from excessive sweating. However, it is important that a healthcare professional, such as a dermatologist or plastic surgeon, performs the procedure on the areas where the treatment will be applied and the appropriate dosages.

Teeth Grinding Treatment

Clenching treatment includes treatment methods to reduce or control the effects of this habit in people who have problems with clenching (bruxism) or teeth grinding. Clenching is usually an unconscious action and usually occurs during sleep or in stressful situations. Long-term clenching can damage the teeth, jaw and jaw muscles.

One of the common treatments is to temporarily paralyze the jaw muscles caused by the clenching problem and reduce the clenching and jaw grinding activity. It is used in cases where the jaw muscles are overdeveloped or hyperactive. This can cause prominent jaw lines, square face shape, or excessive jaw clenching and grinding in some people.

The active substance is administered to the masseter muscles by injection. The effects usually begin within a few days and become fully evident within 1 to 2 weeks. Usually the effects last for 4 to 6 months and then may need to be repeated. It temporarily paralyzes the masseter muscles and reduces muscle activity. In this way, the masseter muscles become smaller and less prominent, the facial features soften and the aesthetic appearance around the chin improves.

Gummy Smile

Gummy smile refers to a situation where the gums are too visible during smiling. This may be an aesthetic concern in some people, as the gums are more prominent than normal. Gummy smile usually occurs when the body of the upper teeth is shorter than normal.

Causes of a gummy smile can include:

  1. Teeth being shorter than normal: In some people, the upper teeth may be shorter than normal and the gums may appear more due to this.
  2. Gum enlargement: Overgrowth or hyperplasia of the gums can cause a gummy smile.
  3. Short upper lip: If the upper lip is shorter than normal, the gums may appear more when smiling.

Gummy smile treatment may vary depending on the person’s condition. One of the frequently preferred gummy smile treatment options is to temporarily reduce the activity of the upper lip muscles and make the gums less visible. This method is the application of the active substance to the area with the help of fine-tipped injection.

The effects usually begin within a few days and become fully evident within 1 to 2 weeks. Usually the effects last 4 to 6 months.
